Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Follow designated delivery routes and maintain schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage delivery documentation and maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding delivery status and issues.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during deliveries.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum education requirement: Matric Certificate.
• Proven experience in driving and delivery services.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of the local roads and traffic regulations.
• Ability to lift heavy items and operate basic packing and loading equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
